Description
The Doorty cross was built in 1189 AD in a monastic settlement called Kilfenora. Because so many other crosses were discovered here, it is
referred to as “The City of Crosses” The cross features three bishops. the bishop on top represents the Roman catholic church, the two underneath representing the Coptic and Celtic church.
